Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to implement Evoluno in my company? As an HR manager, does it take me time?

Implementing Evoluno at your workplace is very quick, requiring at most a few hours of your time. Our delivery and deployment are highly efficient, as we understand that HR managers have busy schedules. We provide everything necessary to launch Evoluno smoothly.

Is the content scientifically validated?

We aim to be the most trustworthy partner in mental health. Therefore, we only use scientifically validated tools. Ourself-management health programs utilize evidence-based techniques that have been validated by peer-reviewed studies. We thoroughly vet the therapists in our network to ensure they have significant experience working with employed individuals.

What is the average return on investment?

It varies but is typically around 10x. The return on investment becomes positive very quickly, as generally, helping just one person out of a hundred covers the annual cost of Evoluno (by preventing along-term absence or turnover due to burnout and the resulting work place disruption).

Isn’t mental health content available for free online?

There are many resources available on the web. However, for an effective mental health program, you need more than just good content. It’s also crucial to link it to other activities (support system setup, communication campaigns). Content alone won’t yield effective results. Additionally, personalizing recommendations and making the learning process as easy as possible is important. Our micro-learning approach (self-assessments, audio capsules, practical exercises) integrated into a user-friendly app makes learning both enjoyable and effective.

Is the content only available via a mobile app, or is there a web version as well?

Yes, in addition to the mobile version (iOS/Android), there is also a web version of the platform.

How do you handle employees who leave the company? Do they still have access to Evoluno?

There’s a balance between control and confidentiality. We choose to prioritize confidentiality. This means employees are free to sign up with a personal email address and/or an alias. Consequently, we cannot know which specific employee is using the app.

I’m worried people won’t stay engaged long-term, especially on the mobile app.

We understand this concern. However, two factors mitigate it. First, we see that a significant number of employees remain engaged several months post-launch. Six months after launch, the app's usage rate is typically between 10 and 15% per month (compared to about 2%annually for traditional employee assistance programs). Second, the app is just one of the many touch points we deploy. By also considering participants in campaigns, we regularly engage nearly 30% of the staff, and sometimes 50% or more with certain clients.

Can employees invite external people?

No, this is not a feature we currently offer.

Can I pay for my employees' therapy sessions?

Yes, and we encourage it because the financial barrier is real for some people. Typically, our clients fund the first six sessions for an employee seeking support. In this case, Evoluno acts as an intermediary in the transaction. The therapist invoices Evoluno, and Evoluno invoices the company, ensuring complete confidentiality in the process.

Is there a chat or support line available on the app?

We provide a list of emergency numbers.

How much new content do you add per year?

We usually upload a new course each month. A course is a structured sequence of steps comprising a set of activities (audio tracks, exercises, assessments) aimed at improving a specific aspect of a person's mental health.

What topics are covered?

Currently, we offer content on anxiety, resilience, self-regulation, self-esteem, sleep, anger management, non-violent communication, insomnia, mindfulness, gratitude, burnout prevention, energy, remote work, and stress management.

What if I need a specific topic?

We love hearing ideas from our clients! Since we continuously produce new content, we’d be happy to incorporate your suggestions into our pipeline. For example, one of our clients expressed interest in topics on parenting, and it's now available on the Evoluno platform.

Are there topics reserved for specific types of workers (managers, etc.)?

Not at this time. The app's content is accessible to everyone without restriction. However, we occasionally organize activities (workshops, group discussions, etc.) that target specific populations.

On average, how many employees sign up to use Evoluno?

Between 30 and 50% within the first six months.

Is Evoluno completely confidential?

Yes, and we take this issue very seriously. We have strict processes in place to ensure everyone's privacy and security. We never share individual data with a client or an external service provider.

Do you share information with the employer?

We never share data that could directly or indirectly identify an individual. We only share aggregated data with employers to help them understand what’s happening in their workplace.

What information do I need to provide?

None. Our onboarding process is very simple. You sign up, and we deliver value. You don’t need to give us data, access to any internal tools, or create an IT integration.

What if I already have a mental health service provider?

Great, we think Evoluno is complementary. We can link the resources you already have within our digital solution to give them more visibility.

Are there long-term contracts?

Our contract is valid for 1 year, renewable.

What are the exact terms of the guarantee?

Our mission is to provide value to people. If we fail in this mission (i.e., you don't think Evoluno brings you any value),then our business relationship doesn’t make sense, and we will gladly refund you.

Is this suitable if I’m based outside of Belgium?

Yes, we can work with companies worldwide. We collaborate with a network of over 80,000 therapists globally to ensure effective support for your staff, whether online or in-person.

How can I justify the cost?

We understand that helping people is good, but ultimately, companies want a financial return. Fortunately, improving your staff's mental health is not a cost but an investment. Happier workers are more engaged, which means more productivity, less absenteeism and turnover, and a better reputation for your company. Consider this: a single case of burnout costs your company thousands of euros. By helping just one person and preventing one burnout, you already get a positive return on investment.

Does Evoluno help me better meet my legal obligations?

Most countries have a strict legal framework to ensure companies take care of their employees' well-being. Non-compliance can have serious consequences, both civil (fines) and criminal. Evoluno helps meet these obligations regarding the psychosocial aspect. Evoluno fits into a prevention plan and also into a social report (staff training).
